Salary: £60,000 £65,000 + benefits
Travel: Ad hoc travel to client sites across the UK
Were looking for an experienced Quality Automation Engineer to join a growing engineering team, working with a range of clients to deliver modern, high-quality software solutions.
This is a hands-on role where youll help shape Quality Engineering strategies, automation frameworks and testing approaches, while working across different technologies, industries and client environments.
What youll be doing
Define and implement modern Quality Engineering and test automation strategies.
Build and maintain automated testing solutions across complex software environments.
Work hands-on with at least one object-oriented programming language, such as Java, C#, TypeScript or Python.
Work with cloud technologies including AWS and Azure.
Apply modern engineering practices to improve quality, productivity and software delivery.
Collaborate closely with developers, engineers and client stakeholders to solve complex problems.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies, including Generative AI, and identify opportunities to apply them within testing and engineering.
Contribute to wider Quality Engineering communities, sharing knowledge and helping shape best practice.
What were looking for
Several years' experience in Quality Engineering and test automation.
Strong hands-on experience developing automated testing solutions.
Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language such as Java, C#, TypeScript or Python.
Experience working within cloud environments, ideally AWS or Azure.
Hands-on experience with GenAI, or evidence of actively exploring and developing GenAI projects.
A passion for improving software quality and delivery.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
A flexible mindset and willingness to learn new technologies and work across different client environments.
