IAM Consultant London | Up to £66,000 | Active SC Clearance Required
We're looking for an IAM Consultant to support identity and access management projects within a growing digital consultancy, working with clients to turn complex access requirements into practical, secure solutions.
This is a client-facing role suited to someone who combines IAM knowledge with strong business analysis skills, enjoys working with stakeholders and can translate business needs into clear requirements for technical teams.
Who you'll be working with
You'll work alongside identity, transformation and engineering specialists, engaging with application owners, business stakeholders and security teams to improve how organisations manage access to their systems.
What you'll be doing
Lead discovery sessions and workshops to understand application access requirements, user roles and permissions.
Gather and document business and technical requirements for IAM solutions.
Define role-based access control (RBAC) models and application onboarding requirements.
Map current and future-state access processes, including provisioning, approvals, access reviews and removal.
Identify gaps, risks and opportunities to improve identity and access management processes.
Work with technical teams to translate requirements into practical implementation plans.
Support testing and validation to ensure solutions meet business and security requirements.
What we're looking for
Experience in IAM or identity governance, ideally within a consultancy or client-facing environment.
Experience leading stakeholder workshops, discovery sessions and requirements-gathering activities.
Understanding of RBAC, access controls, identity lifecycle management and application onboarding.
Ability to document requirements, map processes and work closely with technical teams.
Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with both business and technical stakeholders.
Experience with Microsoft Entra ID or another identity provider would be beneficial.
