Insurance Architect Consultant / Associate Manager Bath, Bristol or London | Hybrid | Up to £85,000

Were working with a leading global professional services and technology consultancy that is growing its Insurance Architecture team.

This is an opportunity for experienced technologists and architects to work on complex digital transformation programmes across Insurance and Financial Services, helping clients shape technology strategy and deliver modern, scalable solutions.

The team works across General Insurance, Life, Pensions & Investments, London Markets and wider Financial Services, with projects spanning cloud transformation, digital underwriting and claims, AI and Gen AI, data architecture and large-scale platform modernisation.

What youll be doing Help shape and deliver enterprise and solution architecture across Insurance and Financial Services.

Develop current-state, target-state, roadmap and transition architecture.

Work across areas including applications, integration, data, AI, cloud and cyber security.

Design solutions that address complex business and technology challenges.

Produce high-quality architecture outputs including data integration designs, automation workflows, cloud strategy and proof-of-concepts.

Act as the bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring solutions align with genuine business needs.

Work directly with senior client stakeholders, building trusted relationships and communicating complex technical concepts clearly.

Contribute to industry thought leadership, internal knowledge sharing and innovation initiatives.

Support and mentor more junior colleagues while helping develop the wider architecture capability.

What were looking for 5+ years experience in technology roles, ideally across Financial Services, Insurance or another regulated environment.

Experience across a combination of data, applications, cloud, integration or security.

Good understanding of data architecture, including data modelling, integration, governance, visualisation and migration.

Exposure to modern data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake or equivalent.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience working at the intersection of business and technology, translating business challenges into practical technology solutions.

Familiarity with industry platforms such as Guidewire, Sapiens, Duck Creek, FNZ, SS&C, Pershing, Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics would be highly desirable.

Interest in AI/Gen AI, automation and modern data platforms and how they can improve technology delivery and client outcomes.

Comfortable working with clients, suppliers and wider delivery teams. xohmjla
