About the Role

Our client is a global consulting and technology services organisation supporting major energy and commodities trading firms across the UK and Europe. They are expanding their trading technology capability and are hiring experienced Endur Trading Business Analysts to work on complex trading, risk, and ETRM transformation programmes. This role is focused on delivering real trading outcomes. You will work closely with front office, risk, back-office, and IT teams to optimise and enhance the Endur trading platform across the full trade lifecycle.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading business analysis activities across Endur-enabled trading initiatives.
  • Capturing, analysing, and documenting functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Configuring Endur base and reference data and identifying system improvements.
  • Supporting trade capture, confirmations, settlement, invoicing, and scheduling.
  • Troubleshooting issues across trading workflows and data integrity.
  • Running stakeholder workshops and user acceptance testing.
  • Producing clear reporting and insights for senior stakeholders.
  • Managing multiple workstreams and competing priorities simultaneously.

Ideal Background

  • Strong experience delivering end-to-end projects in complex trading or financial environments.
  • Proven business analysis capability including problem definition, value drivers, and requirements capture.
  • Experience running workshops, UAT, and stakeholder sessions.
  • Confident stakeholder management across business and technology teams.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments.

Energy Trading & Endur Experience

  • Hands-on experience working within energy trading markets, ideally UK & European Power, UK & European Gas, or environmental products.
  • Strong understanding of trading instruments including OTC forwards, swaps, options, and exchange-traded futures and options.
  • In-depth experience in one or more Endur functional areas including trade capture, market risk, back-office, accounting, EOD, or ETRM migrations.
  • Proven experience configuring OpenLink Endur (v18 or later).
  • Strong knowledge of the full Endur trade lifecycle including confirmations, settlement, invoicing, and scheduling.
  • Solid understanding of P&L, MTM, financial risk, and settlements.
  • Experience integrating Endur with other trading and enterprise systems.

Additional Experience

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
  • Experience delivering increasingly complex projects and services.
  • Exposure to cloud-based delivery environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience working with both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.

Who Should Apply

This role suits experienced Endur Business Analysts who are comfortable operating close to the trading desk, understand energy trading workflows end to end, and want to work on high-impact ETRM programmes rather than support-only roles.
