Platform Engineer – AWS
Manchester (Hybrid)
Up to £65,000 + Excellent Package

We're looking for experienced Platform Engineers who can design, build, and operate secure, scalable cloud environments within AWS – enabling some of the UK's most complex and high-impact programmes.
This is an opportunity to work within a mission-driven team that combines the agility of a modern engineering practice with the scale and resources of a major defence and intelligence partner.
What you'll be doing
- Designing, building, and maintaining cloud platforms in secure AWS environments.
- Supporting DevOps adoption and automation across CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
- Embedding modern engineering practices within cross-functional delivery teams.
- Partnering with consultants, architects, and clients to solve complex technical challenges.
- Contributing to cloud strategy and technical roadmaps across multiple projects.
What you'll bring
- Proven experience in AWS platform engineering and cloud-native services.
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).
- Solid grasp of DevOps principles – CI/CD, containerisation, and monitoring.
- Eligible for DV Clearance (UK nationals only).
- Consulting or client-facing background, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
