We are working with a global technology consultancy delivering secure, large-scale digital transformation programmes across multiple industries. They are looking for an AWS Solution Architect to join a growing engineering and architecture team, designing and delivering modern, cloud-based solutions across enterprise environments. This role is ideal for someone who wants to shape cloud strategy, design scalable architectures, and work alongside senior engineers and technical leads on enterprise-scale AWS programmes.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Designing secure, scalable AWS architectures
  • Defining cloud solutions across microservices, data, and integration layers
  • Supporting migration and modernisation initiatives
  • Working within Agile delivery teams
  • Contributing to CI/CD and DevOps best practices
  • Ensuring solutions meet security, governance, and compliance standards
  • Collaborating with developers, DevOps engineers, and stakeholders

What They’re Looking For:

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS solution design
  • Experience architecting cloud-native solutions
  • Understanding of microservices and modern application patterns
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Ability to translate business requirements into secure technical architectures
  • Passion for cloud innovation and best practices

Nice to Have:

  • AWS Associate or Professional certification
  • Experience with containers (Docker/Kubernetes)

Security Clearance Requirement: Due to client project work, candidates must be eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC).
