Im working with a global consultancy who are looking for an experienced AWS Connect Engineer to join their Customer Experience technology team, supporting the evolution of a cloud-based contact centre platform within a regulated environment.
This is a hands-on role where youll play a key part in transforming customer interactions through modern cloud and AI-driven solutions.
What youll be doing:
- Designing and building Amazon Connect contact flows and routing logic
- Delivering AI-driven features including IVR, agent assist, and sentiment analysis
- Integrating AWS Connect with backend systems (CRM, core platforms) using Lambda and APIs
- Developing secure, compliant contact centre solutions aligned to regulatory standards
- Building real-time and historical reporting across customer interactions
- Supporting outbound dialling campaigns within regulatory frameworks
- Working closely with security, risk, and compliance teams
- Managing infrastructure through Terraform or CloudFormation
- Contributing to resilience planning (DR/BCP) and platform optimisation
What theyre looking for:
- Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Connect
- Experience working within regulated environments (financial services, fintech, etc.)
- Solid understanding of contact centre platforms (IVR, routing, workflows)
- Experience integrating systems using AWS Lambda and REST APIs
- Proficiency in Python or Node.js
- Knowledge of security and compliance (GDPR, PCI-DSS, FCA regulations)
- Experience with Contact Lens and analytics is a plus
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
