We’re hiring an experienced Data & Machine Learning Architect to lead the design of modern, scalable data and AI platforms. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys setting technical direction, shaping strategy, and guiding teams to deliver intelligent, enterprise‑grade solutions.
What you’ll have the opportunity to do as a Data Architect:
- Defining and owning data and machine learning architecture across complex programmes
- Designing scalable cloud‑based data platforms and AI solutions that align to business goals
- Providing technical leadership across data engineering, ML and analytics delivery
- Establishing architectural standards around data modelling, governance, quality and security
- Working closely with senior stakeholders to translate business needs into technical roadmaps
- Mentoring engineers and architects while promoting best practice and innovation
About the Candidate:
The right Data Architect should have:
- Strong experience in data architecture, ML architecture or advanced data engineering roles
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms and modern data architectures
- Proven ability to design and govern large‑scale data and AI solutions
- Experience with CI/CD, MLOps and infrastructure‑as‑code approaches
- Confident communicator able to work with both technical and non‑technical audiences
- Eligible for SC clearance (5+ years continuous UK residency)
