Agile Scrum MasterLocation: Newcastle (Hybrid 3 days onsite)Salary: £55,000 £75,000
We're looking for an Agile Scrum Master to join a growing technology delivery team working across complex software projects. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong Agile experience who enjoys bringing teams together, running effective ceremonies and keeping delivery moving.
The Role
You'll work closely with software delivery teams, leading Agile ceremonies and helping teams plan, prioritise and deliver effectively. You'll operate primarily as a Scrum Master while also taking on broader delivery responsibilities.
What you'll be doing:
- Run daily stand-ups and Agile ceremonies.
- Facilitate sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
- Coordinate delivery activity across complex software projects.
- Identify and help remove blockers.
- Support delivery planning and prioritisation.
- Track risks, issues and dependencies.
- Keep delivery teams and stakeholders aligned.
- Promote Agile best practice and continuous improvement.
- Support teams in delivering high-quality outcomes.
What You'll Need:
- Experience as a Scrum Master or within a similar Agile delivery role.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum practices.
- Experience working on software or technology projects.
- Confidence facilitating ceremonies and coordinating teams.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to identify blockers and keep delivery on track.
- No software engineering background is required.
- Budget management and commercial experience are not essential.
