We’re looking for experienced Data Architects to join a high-performing consulting team delivering complex, large-scale programmes across government and regulated industries.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy and engineering - giving you the chance to shape enterprise-wide data architectures, influence critical transformation programmes, and lead teams delivering real impact.
You’ll take ownership of data architecture across major programmes, working closely with clients and internal teams to design scalable, future-proof solutions.
- Define end-to-end data architecture for large, complex programmes
- Shape data strategy, migration, and integration approaches
- Design enterprise data models across structured and unstructured environments
- Architect solutions across big data and distributed systems
- Set architectural standards, frameworks, and best practices
- Provide technical leadership and governance across delivery
- Engage senior stakeholders and translate technical concepts into business outcomes
- Lead, mentor, and develop teams of engineers and architects
What They’re Looking For
- Strong background in data architecture and software engineering
- Experience defining data strategy, migration, and integration approaches
- Hands-on capability with technologies like Java, Scala, or Python (when needed)
- Experience with Big Data technologies and distributed systems
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and data services
- Experience across both open-source and vendor data platforms
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience designing for both structured and unstructured data
- Strong data modelling expertise
