Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for an AWS Solution Architect to join a high-performing cloud team, working on complex, enterprise-scale transformation programmes. You’ll play a key role in designing and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions, with a particular focus on enabling modern applications and AI-driven workloads. The role spans the full lifecycle — from architecture and design through to implementation — working closely with cross-functional teams including developers, data scientists, and engineers. You’ll act as both a technical leader and trusted advisor, helping clients maximise the value of cloud technologies while remaining hands-on in delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performing AWS cloud solutions
  • Architecting and supporting cloud applications and modern infrastructure
  • Leading end-to-end cloud migration programmes from legacy environments
  • Optimising cloud cost, performance, and scalability (including GPU and serverless workloads)
  • Developing and maintaining cloud architecture standards, frameworks, and best practices
  • Implementing robust cloud security controls and ensuring compliance with industry standards
  • Collaborating with engineering, DevOps, and data teams to deploy applications and ML pipelines
  • Providing technical leadership and guidance across cloud-related initiatives
  • Evaluating and recommending new cloud services and capabilities

What They’re Looking For

  • 5+ years’ experience designing and delivering cloud solutions (AWS preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, VPC, IAM, Route 53)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
  • Proven experience leading cloud migration strategies and implementations
  • Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance frameworks (e.g. CIS, SOC2)
  • Experience with DevOps tooling (e.g. Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, client-facing environments
  • Multi-cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience with hybrid cloud/on-prem integration
  • Exposure to AI/ML workloads and data-driven platforms
  • Background in large-scale consulting or transformation programmes
