Manager – Financial Services

Role Overview:

  • Collaborate with leading corporate and investment institutions to define and deliver strategy for business and regulatory-driven change.
  • Lead programmes and contribute to growth through thought leadership and business development.
  • Work in cross-functional teams to drive continuous business performance improvement.
  • Identify and mitigate delivery risks while applying strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain a value-driven approach, focusing on client impact and strategic goals.
  • Support the development of junior team members and contribute to business growth across diverse projects.
  • Take part in business development efforts including RFPs, proposals, client pitches, and proposition development.
  • Contribute internally through campaign development, whitepapers, operations, recruitment, and team events.
  • Engage in learning and development through certifications and tailored training programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate approximately £1m in consulting revenues through business development initiatives.
  • Lead large-scale regulatory change programmes (e.g., Basel 3.x, FRTB, DORA, Operational Resilience, Market Abuse Regulations).
  • Bring cross-asset class experience in both product and regulatory contexts, ideally across front, middle, and back office functions.
  • Offer deep knowledge in wholesale lending and transaction banking.
  • Develop strategic roadmaps for digitisation initiatives, including AI, cloud, Web3, DLT, and digital assets.
  • Understand the three lines of defence and how controls are implemented across the trade lifecycle.
  • Possess knowledge and experience in ESG-related work.
  • Demonstrate people management capability and a proven track record in mentoring and team development.
  • Lead proposition development and sales campaign execution.
  • Blend consulting and industry experience for an agile, effective approach.
