An exciting opportunity has become available for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading defence engineering organisation supporting the development and production of advanced technology systems. This role offers the chance to play a key part in improving manufacturing processes, supporting production operations, and driving continuous improvement across both existing and new product programmes. You'll work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support manufacturing operations across existing production lines and new product introductions
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, build instructions, and production bills of materials
- Identify, investigate, and resolve manufacturing issues to support delivery objectives
- Contribute to industrial validation activities, including process proving and risk assessments
- Manage the implementation of engineering changes and configuration updates within manufacturing
- Support non-conformance investigations and corrective actions
- Work closely with design teams to ensure products are optimised for manufacture
- Assist with tooling development, process improvements, and future manufacturing initiatives
What We're Looking For:
- Engineering apprenticeship with further qualifications such as HNC/HND, or a degree in an engineering discipline
- Experience within a manufacturing, production, or engineering environment
