Location: Hybrid (2–3 days per week on-site in Corsham)
Security Clearance: Due to the nature of our work, all applicants must be eligible for UK security clearance. This requires holding a British passport and having lived in the UK continuously for the past five years.
An experienced Test Lead is sought to manage a testing service comprising 7 to 17 Test Engineers. The team is responsible for integration and end-to-end testing of a major IT Service Management (ITSM) function within a secure environment. The role offers the opportunity to shape testing strategy and governance, with scope to introduce automation in the future.
Key Responsibilities- Own and deliver the project's Test Strategy and governance framework
- Plan and assure integration testing of new or modified capabilities
- Lead functional integration, end-to-end, and API testing activities
- Estimate testing effort for new workstreams to support accurate project planning
- Align testing practices with industry standards and best practices
- Provide assurance of third-party supplier testing
- Collaborate with Business and Process Owners to develop high-coverage test cases
- Manage defect lifecycle and reporting
- Lead and mentor a team of deployed Test Engineers
- Produce monthly service outcome reports
- Identify and manage testing risks
Proven leadership in test management within secure environments. Strong background in manual testing with potential to evolve into automation. Familiarity with ITSM, ITIL, and ServiceNow platforms. Experience in delivering client-side assurance and working with third-party vendors.
