A leading global consulting and systems integration firm is seeking a Technology Consultant to support large-scale digital and business transformation programmes across the Energy & Utilities sector. This is a delivery-focused, client-facing role, working on complex ERP, CRM and cloud-enabled transformations for major UK energy and utilities organisations. You will operate at the intersection of business and technology, owning workstreams and supporting end-to-end programme delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of large-scale technology and business transformation programmes across Energy & Utilities clients
- Translate business requirements into clear, structured technology solutions
- Work closely with client stakeholders, onshore teams and offshore delivery centres
- Contribute to solution design, build, test and deployment activities
- Manage risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies across assigned workstreams
- Support delivery across Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies
- Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, business-friendly manner
- Ensure high-quality outputs are delivered on time and within agreed scope
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5+ years' experience working within the Energy or Utilities sector
- Experience delivering on large transformation programmes (ERP and/or CRM)
- Exposure to technology implementation or systems integration environments
- Strong understanding of delivery governance and RAID management
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary and globally distributed teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Comfortable operating in client-facing, fast-paced environments
Desirable Experience
- ERP (e.g. SAP) or CRM (e.g. Salesforce) implementation experience
- Cloud or SaaS exposure (AWS, Azure, Salesforce, etc.)
- Consulting or systems integrator background
- Agile, cloud, industry or programme management certifications
