As a Senior Security Testing Consultant, you’ll deliver end-to-end security testing engagements across applications, web, mobile, and infrastructure. You’ll lead scoping, delivery, and reporting, working closely with clients to provide actionable insights. You’ll also develop tools and techniques to enhance team capabilities and share knowledge across Threat Intelligence and Incident Response teams.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading end-to-end security testing engagements, including scoping, delivery, and client wash-ups
- Performing application, web, mobile, infrastructure, objective-based, and intelligence-led tests
- Producing detailed reporting and presentations for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Safely using testing tools and implementing risk controls
- Developing scripts, tools, or techniques to improve team capability
- Sharing knowledge with colleagues across Security Consulting, Threat Intelligence, and Incident Response
Ideal Background
- Proven experience delivering security testing projects with practical knowledge of tools, techniques, and procedures
- Understanding of client needs, stakeholder engagement, and risk mitigation
- Team Leader (Infrastructure, Applications, or Both) with Chartership (Principal or Full), or able to achieve within three months
- Technical interest or expertise in adversary emulation, vulnerability discovery, reverse-engineering, or emerging technology
- Flexibility to travel within the UK and internationally
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Desirable: Python, C/C++, ASM, exploit development, or experience in Government, Telecoms, Energy, or Financial Services sectors
