Requirements:

  • Eligible for BPSS and SC Security Clearance, with 5 years of continuous UK address history.
  • Strong AWS experience and knowledge of core cloud services.
  • Hands-on Kubernetes experience in production environments.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK and Terraform.
  • Experience developing CI/CD pipelines and automation.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tooling and best practices.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites across the UK on an ad hoc basis.
  • No sponsorship will be offered for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and support cloud-native platforms on AWS.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK and Terraform.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment quality and speed.
  • Manage Kubernetes environments in production.
  • Drive DevOps best practices across development and operations teams.
  • Work closely with software engineers to improve platform reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Implement monitoring, observability, and automation to improve system resilience.
  • Contribute to technical communities, knowledge sharing, and engineering best practice.
  • Use modern AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot and similar technologies to improve delivery efficiency and code quality.
