A leading consultancy in the United Kingdom is seeking to appoint a Palantir Data Consultant to their growing team. The Palantir Data Consultant plays a key role in ensuring that teams fully understand business objectives, enabling the delivery of high-quality data solutions that genuinely meet customer and end-user needs. This role is central to shaping how complex problems and processes are communicated across both technical and non-technical audiences, supporting the analysis and design of data solutions used by organisations worldwide.
The successful consultant will be confident in guiding teams, fostering collaboration, and encouraging open discussion. They will lead workshops, bring together diverse stakeholder groups, and facilitate decision-making in areas where uncertainty exists.
Responsibilities:- Extensive experience in business analysis within data-intensive technical environments—such as Data Platforms or Big Data—covering the full lifecycle from analysis to launch and ongoing operations.
- Strong understanding of how data requirements underpin wider business outcomes.
- Broad knowledge of the Data & AI landscape, with a solid grasp of emerging industry trends.
- Skilled workshop facilitator, able to drive focused outcomes and achieve stakeholder alignment.
- Proficient in modelling current and future business and data management processes, presenting findings clearly to both teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent user story creation abilities, translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements.
- Experienced in stakeholder management, with the confidence to challenge decisions appropriately and adapt communication styles as needed.
- Proven track record of delivering effectively within agile teams.
- Responsible for breaking down work from initial conception through to delivery, managing the team's backlog to ensure quality and maturity.
- Skilled in eliciting functional, technical and non-functional requirements, translating these into user stories that are fully understood across the team.
- Demonstrated ability to manage scope to achieve a Minimum Viable Product (MVP), ensuring maximum value is delivered.
- Strong commercial awareness, consistently delivering within agreed project constraints.
- Flexible approach, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience within client–supplier environments, understanding client expectations and adapting accordingly.
- Previous contribution to sales activities, such as supporting bids or writing proposals.
- Strong team player with a proven record of working within multi-disciplinary teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, confident engaging with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Sector knowledge in areas such as Financial Services or Insurance.
- Experience working directly on client sites, delivering high-quality digital products.
- Exposure to designing AI or Machine Learning products.
- A passion for developing others, with experience mentoring, coaching, or managing team members.
- Active engagement in professional communities, whether online or through conference speaking or similar activities.
