Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Reporting Manager to lead the design and delivery of enterprise‑grade Oracle reporting solutions within large‑scale Oracle transformation programmes. This role sits within a leading Oracle Delivery Services practice and focuses on enabling data‑driven decision‑making through robust, scalable, and insight‑led reporting across Finance and wider enterprise functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end Oracle reporting workstreams across complex transformation programmes
- Own reporting delivery from planning and design through to build, testing, and deployment
- Define and implement scalable Oracle reporting strategies aligned to client requirements
- Ensure high‑quality delivery across all reporting outputs and solutions
Solution Design & Delivery
- Design and implement reporting solutions using Oracle tools such as OTBI, BI Publisher, Smart View, and related Oracle reporting technologies
- Translate complex business requirements into structured reporting and analytics solutions
- Ensure reporting solutions are aligned with underlying Oracle ERP data structures (Finance and/or Supply Chain)
- Support dashboarding and data visualisation design for operational and executive reporting
Delivery Governance & Controls
- Manage reporting workstream risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery timelines (RAID management)
- Ensure alignment to project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Activate, PRINCE2 where applicable)
- Oversee SDLC processes including requirements, design, development, testing (SIT/UAT), and release
- Ensure reporting solutions are fully tested, validated, and fit for business use
Leadership & Capability Development
- Lead, coach, and develop junior consultants and reporting specialists
- Review and quality assure deliverables across the reporting workstream
- Contribute to practice development, knowledge sharing, and internal capability building
- Support business growth through input into proposals, bids, and client presentations
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands‑on expertise with Oracle reporting tools (OTBI, BI Publisher, Smart View, etc.)
- Experience delivering complex reporting and analytics solutions in enterprise environments
- Consulting or client‑facing background is essential
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across all levels
- Understanding of Oracle ERP Finance and/or Supply Chain data structures
- Experience across full SDLC lifecycle (design to deployment)
- Familiarity with delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Activate, etc.)
- Experience leading teams and managing delivery workstreams
Working Model
- Hybrid working (London, Manchester, or Belfast base)
- Flexible combination of office, client site, and remote working
- Travel required based on project and client needs
