The Strategy Group is a diverse team of over 150 practitioners, working collaboratively and orchestrating a broad set of capabilities within Deal Advisory, focused on continually enhancing value for clients across the deal and economic cycle.
The JV and Alliances team comprises specialists from all required disciplines to design, set up, operate, or exit partnerships, helping clients from ideation to execution of their most innovative and significant partnerships. You will be part of a small and agile team and will need to be an entrepreneur in spirit, helping to grow the JV business. This means you will be asked to support sales, engagement delivery, and team building at the same time from Day 1.

- Corporate Finance skillset allowing effective key agreements negotiation support
- Experience across a number of JV-related issues including but not limited to strategic options assessments, valuation, business planning, legal agreements negotiation, and project management of JV deals
To be successful in the role, the candidate will need to demonstrate the following key competencies:
- Ability to lead complex JV engagements from start to finish
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams comprised of Legal, Tax, Valuation, JV Accounting, Deal Execution experts, etc.
- Proactively drive business development and help secure consulting engagements
- Undertake scoping and budgeting of engagements
- Develop JV-related thought leadership for external release
- Understand risk and ensure that firm's risk management frameworks are adhered to at all times
- Inspire, motivate, coach, and develop project team members and appraisees, and give constructive 360-degree feedback
Further Role Requirements
- Flexibility to work on classic M&A deals (predominantly on integration, separation, or synergy engagements) across different regions and sectors in times when activity in the JV area is not at the desired level
