The business is developing advanced software solutions designed to address one of the biggest challenges facing next generation autonomous systems: safety, reliability and trust.
Working alongside leading organisations across highly regulated industries, the company is developing technology to support the safe deployment of increasingly autonomous and intelligent systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work on technically challenging projects at the forefront of aerospace, defence and autonomous technology.
The RoleYou will contribute to the design, development, testing and verification of high-integrity embedded software for safety-critical applications.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing safety-critical embedded software.
Designing and implementing real-time software solutions.
Contributing to software architecture and system integration.
Supporting verification, validation and testing activities.
Developing high-integrity software using C, C++ and/or Ada.
Working within regulated engineering and certification environments.
Supporting software safety analysis and assurance activities.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams. Essential ExperienceStrong embedded software engineering background.
Experience with C, C++, Ada or similar programming languages.
Experience working with real-time or embedded systems. Exposure to safety-critical or high-integrity software development.
Understanding of software verification and validation.
Familiarity with regulated engineering environments and safety standards.
Desirable
ExperienceAda or SPARK development.
Aerospace, defence or automotive engineering. DO-178C, ISO 26262 or IEC 61508.Avionics, flight control or mission systems. UAV, UAS, robotics or autonomous platforms.
Formal methods and model-based development.
Safety assurance and certification processes.
