Salary: Up to £130,000 + 20% bonus

This is a senior leadership role combining commercial ownership, solution architecture, delivery oversight, and capability building across modern data and AI ecosystems. As a high-visibility leader, you will have real influence over strategy, delivery, and growth in Data & AI.

You will operate at the intersection of strategy and execution, shaping data & AI roadmaps, winning and leading engagements, and building high-performing multidisciplinary teams that deliver measurable business value.

As Director of Data & Analytics, you will:

  • Scope, shape, and sell data, analytics, and AI engagements at executive level
  • Architect and oversee delivery of modern data & AI platforms and solutions
  • Translate business strategy into actionable data and AI roadmaps
  • Lead large, cross-functional delivery teams across data engineering, analytics, and AI
  • Drive data governance, data operating model, and data capability programmes
  • Champion AI and advanced analytics use cases from concept through production
  • Partner with account and commercial teams to grow existing clients and open new opportunities
  • Contribute to thought leadership in AI, advanced analytics, and cloud data platforms
  • Coach and develop senior data professionals and future leaders
  • Ensure delivery quality, profitability, and client impact across programmes

Required Experience:

  • 10+ years’ experience in Data and Analytics leadership roles
  • Strong consulting or advisory background, or equivalent client-facing transformation leadership
  • Proven experience in establishing and scaling data practices
  • Proven experience in data strategy, data management and data governance
  • Proven experience delivering complex data and analytics programmes end-to-end
  • Deep knowledge of modern data & Analytics architectures and operating models
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Experience with data governance, data strategy, and data literacy initiatives
  • Track record of winning work and growing client relationships
  • Demonstrated success leading and scaling high-performing teams
  • Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills

Desirable Background:

  • Experience across multiple analytics and visualisation platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.)
  • Exposure to structured and unstructured data platforms (SQL, NoSQL, distributed systems)
