This role offers the opportunity to work across end-to-end DevOps environments, supporting the development, deployment, and operation of complex systems within high-assurance settings.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Build and maintain DevOps pipelines and infrastructure at scale
- Work across modern cloud, container, and automation technologies
- Support delivery in secure and technically challenging environments
- Contribute to platform reliability, performance, and scalability
- Work closely with engineering teams to enable efficient delivery
- Take ownership of DevOps practices within complex programmes
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, or GitHub Actions
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Packer, Ansible, or similar
- Build and manage containerised environments using Docker and Kubernetes
- Support deployment and operations across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Implement monitoring and observability solutions using ELK, Grafana, or similar tools
- Manage artifacts and quality processes using Artifactory, SonarQube, or equivalent
- Support system administration across Linux and Windows environments, including virtualised infrastructure
- Contribute to database administration (e.g. SQL Server or equivalent) where required
- Apply security best practices including secrets management and vulnerability scanning
- Support job scheduling and operational tooling such as Control-M
- Work across development tooling including Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
Key Requirements:
- Strong experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure engineering
- Experience with one or more scripting/programming languages: Python, PowerShell, C#, Java or C++
- Hands-on experience with: Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Packer), Containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines and automation
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tooling
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong understanding of system administration across Linux and/or Windows
- Experience working in complex, secure, or regulated environments
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capability
- Ability to work collaboratively in delivery-focused teams
- UK national, eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC)
