This opportunity sits at the forefront of MLOps, machine learning, and GenAI, working within a specialist team delivering high-impact solutions in complex, high-assurance environments. The position combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership, supporting the design, deployment, and optimisation of advanced AI systems.
You’ll have the opportunity to:

Your Responsibilities:
- Lead technical delivery across machine learning and MLOps engagements
- Design, build, and deploy ML models and LLM-based solutions
- Develop and optimise pipelines for model training and deployment
- Work across cloud and high-performance computing environments
- Act as a subject matter expert across AI and machine learning
- Support junior engineers and contribute to team capability development
- Contribute to internal innovation and continuous improvement
Key Requirements:
- Strong programming capability in Python
- Experience building and deploying machine learning models and pipelines
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure preferred)
- Practical experience with Docker, Linux/Unix CLI, Git, and testing
- Understanding of modern AI approaches, including: Agentic AI systems, RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation), Graph-based approaches
- Computer vision, audio, or multimodal models
- Knowledge of data governance and security best practices
- Strong communication and problem-solving capability
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
