About the Role
Our client is a global technology consultancy delivering large‑scale AI, data, and cloud programmes across government and defence. This role sits within a specialist Data Science and MLOps capability focused on deploying real‑world machine learning and GenAI solutions in highly secure environments. This is a hands‑on, delivery‑focused position. You’ll be building and deploying models, leading small teams, and working directly with clients to implement scalable AI systems that operate in production.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the delivery of ML and GenAI solutions within secure client environments
- Building, deploying, and optimising LLMs and ML models across cloud or HPC platforms
- Acting as the technical SME for Machine Learning and Large Language Models
- Managing day‑to‑day technical delivery and mentoring junior team members
- Working closely with clients to translate requirements into scalable solutions
- Contributing to internal capability growth and innovation across AI offerings
Ideal Background
- Active DV clearance
- Experience with one or more of the following:
- RAG (including Graph RAG)
- Agentic AI systems and architectures
- Computer Vision / Vision Language Models
Nice to have:
- Monitoring and observability for ML systems
- CI/CD pipelines and DevOps/Data Engineering practices
