We're looking for a Data & AI Lead to join a growing consultancy delivering large-scale digital transformation across the healthcare and public sectors. This is an opportunity to combine technical leadership, client engagement and strategic consulting, helping organisations unlock the value of their data through modern platforms and AI.

While healthcare experience is important, we're open to candidates from the wider Public Sector who have delivered at least one significant healthcare programme and are looking to build on that experience.

The Opportunity

You'll work with senior stakeholders to understand business challenges, shape new opportunities and design innovative Data & AI solutions that deliver measurable outcomes. From early client engagement through to successful delivery, you'll provide architectural leadership and trusted technical advice across complex transformation programmes. Alongside delivery, you'll help develop new offerings, contribute to business growth and mentor consultants within an expanding Data & AI practice.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead workshops and discovery sessions with senior client stakeholders.
  • Shape Data & AI opportunities, supporting proposals and solution design.
  • Provide strategic advice on data architecture, analytics and AI adoption.
  • Design modern, scalable data platforms and integration solutions.
  • Guide delivery teams through architecture assurance and technical governance.
  • Support the development of reusable frameworks, accelerators and new service offerings.
  • Stay ahead of emerging Data & AI trends, identifying opportunities to bring innovation to clients.
  • Mentor colleagues and help develop a high-performing technical practice.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Strong experience in a client-facing Data, AI or Data Architecture role.
  • Proven experience shaping opportunities, leading workshops and supporting pre-sales activities.
  • Expertise in data architecture, including data modelling, governance, integration and transformation.
  • Experience delivering large-scale Data or AI programmes within the Public Sector or Healthcare.
  • At least one significant healthcare project, with a good understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the sector.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud data platforms, analytics and AI technologies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior business and technical leaders.
  • Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring delivery teams.

Desirable

  • Experience working with NHS organisations or wider healthcare bodies.
  • Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR, HL7 or SNOMED.
  • Experience with Secure Data Environments (SDEs) or research data platforms.
  • Understanding of Generative AI and Large Language Models.
  • Experience developing reusable offerings, accelerators or go-to-market propositions.
