Role Summary
As a Director within a Business Applications / Technology consulting practice, you will lead complex Dynamics 365 implementations and transformation programmes, engaging senior stakeholders, driving delivery excellence, and shaping strategic solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes. You will also support commercial growth and build internal capability across the Microsoft D365 practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Delivery & Client Engagement
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and related modules across large, client-facing programmes.
- Engage senior stakeholders to define requirements, shape transformation strategies, and ensure solutions align with business goals.
- Provide expert guidance across multiple workstreams, including testing, training, data migration, reporting, and business change.
- Support go-to-market activities and collaborate with Microsoft to enhance D365 platform adoption and solution design.
- Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop multi-disciplinary teams, including nearshore/offshore resources, fostering delivery excellence and a high-performance culture.
- Promote knowledge sharing and reuse of solution templates and assets across engagements.
- Commercial & Market Focus
- Execute commercial models, including estimating, budgeting, and planning for profitable delivery.
- Contribute to business development, including proposals, client pitches, and shaping value propositions.
Core Requirements
- Professional Experience
- Extensive senior experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 (particularly Finance & Operations) solutions in consulting or industry settings.
- Strong expertise in business process mapping, modelling, and complex solution configuration.
- Proven track record engaging senior stakeholders, managing expectations, and navigating complex conversations.
- Experience within a Microsoft Gold Partner ecosystem is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities to grow teams and mentor future leaders.
- Education & Certifications
- Microsoft D365 certifications (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, or other relevant modules) strongly preferred.
Day-to-Day Activities
- Leading cross-functional teams to deliver D365 solutions across business functions (Finance, Supply Chain, Operations).
- Conducting strategic discussions with clients and Microsoft partners to refine solution architecture and go-to-market strategies.
- Overseeing governance, risk, change management, and quality assurance across delivery workstreams.
