Lead Service & UX Designer
London – Hybrid (2 days on-site)
£75,000 – £90,000 + benefits
A global design studio is looking for an experienced Service and UX Design Lead to join a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team focused on creating impactful, user-centred services.
The role offers the change for hands-on designers looking to take the next step in their career to begin suppoting as a Lead on client projects while remaining in a hands-on delivery position as a Service/UX Designer.
Key Responsibilities of the Lead Service & UX Designer :
• Lead interaction and service design activities on projects, including client workshops, creative brainstorming, and defining design principles.
• Ensure all design work is deeply rooted in an understanding of the target audience.
• Manage design research relationships with partners and clients, collaborating effectively with internal research teams.
• Oversee all interaction and service design activities at the project level.
• Innovate and evolve service design practices, integrating external and internal expertise.
• Provide constructive feedback and direction to junior team members, accurately assessing their performance and fostering their development.
What You'll Bring as a Lead Service & UX Designer :
• 8+ Proven experience leading/mentoring on service design / UX projects
• Mastery of service design methodologies, with proficiency in relevant tools and templates.
• Comfort in collaborating with stakeholders to conceptualize and produce high-quality, detailed deliverables, including mock-ups, wireframes, prototypes, user stories, journeys, personas, and journey mapping.
• Proficiency with tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, InVision, Sketch, Axure, and prototyping tools.
