Lead Data Architect

Key Requirements
- Proven experience within the UK Healthcare sector or UK Public Sector.
- Advanced technical design skills in key data architecture areas, including data modelling, data analysis, metadata management, data transformation, data migration, and master data management.
- Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership on data projects, including quality assurance, mentoring, and defining standards.
- Knowledge of best practice methodologies and techniques in data architecture.
- Experience in selecting products and technologies for projects or enterprise-level solutions.
- Strong client engagement skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, offering thought leadership to clients and inspiring internal teams.
- Expertise in at least three mainstream data technologies, with an understanding of broader trends in the data technology landscape.
- A self‑motivated professional comfortable working in environments with high levels of uncertainty, with a track record of developing and mentoring junior team members.
- Ability to define information handling models and carry out capacity planning across varied data store technologies.
- Experience in setting up and managing data governance frameworks.
- Knowledge of architecting data lakes and associated ecosystem solutions.
- Background in enterprise data architecture.
