A local, well-established organisation is seeking a Junior Account Executive to join a collaborative and supportive team. The Role

As a Junior Account Executive, you will manage a portfolio of client accounts, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring customers achieve maximum value from the organisation’s products and services. You will play a key role in onboarding new customers, identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts, and collaborating internally to deliver a high-quality customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage relationships across multiple customer accounts, developing a deep understanding of client needs
  • Identify and develop new commercial opportunities within existing accounts
  • Negotiate contracts and product opportunities that deliver mutual value
  • Represent the organisation at customer meetings, events, conferences, and exhibitions
  • Onboard new customers and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation
  • Provide ongoing product and account support, resolving issues efficiently in collaboration with colleagues
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on account performance and business activity
  • Share knowledge and best practice with colleagues, supporting junior team members where appropriate
  • Develop strong market and industry knowledge to anticipate customer needs and future opportunities
  • Work closely with product, engineering, and other teams to support new product launches and updates

Experience & Qualifications

Essential:

  • At least 1 year’s experience in a customer-facing or account management role
  • Experience managing multiple B2B relationships in a commercial or target-driven environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Ability to self-learn and adapt quickly
  • Confident communicator, both face-to-face and virtually

Education:

  • Degree in a business or IT-related field (2:1 or equivalent preferred), or relevant industry experience
  • Strong academic background preferred but not essential

Desirable:

  • Experience in technology, e-commerce, fintech, financial services, or similar environments
  • An understanding of web or software development concepts
  • Experience using CRM systems and/or analytics tools
