Java Software Engineer

Location: Croydon (Hybrid – Onsite a few times a week)

Duration: 6 months

Clearance: NPPV3 required

About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled Java Developer to join our team on a 6-month contract, working on high-impact projects in a secure environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to meaningful work while developing your skills in a collaborative and forward-thinking team.

What You’ll Bring

Strong experience with Java
Proficiency in Spring Framework (or equivalent)
Solid understanding of software design patterns
Familiarity with containerization using Docker or Kubernetes
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
A passion for clean, test-driven code and high software quality standards

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

Microservices architecture using Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, and Event Sourcing
Spring Framework certification
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
