We are expanding our Enterprise Architecture capability within our Technology Strategy & Advisory practice and are seeking experienced Enterprise Architect Managers to support some of the UK Government's most complex, high-impact transformation programmes.
You will work at the intersection of business strategy, technology, and data, shaping architecture vision, operating models and roadmaps that enable meaningful, enterprise-wide change. This is a client-facing position within secure environments, ideal for those who enjoy combining strategic thinking with practical delivery to influence high-stakes outcomes in defence and national security.
What You'll Do
- Translate business strategies into enterprise architecture vision, target states and transformation roadmaps
- Assess the impact of strategic change across business, data, application, technology, and infrastructure layers
- Lead the creation of enterprise architecture blueprints and end-to-end technology landscapes
- Provide architectural leadership across major digital transformation and reinvention programmes
- Develop value cases and investment justifications for executive decision-making
- Apply Lean and Agile architecture principles to complex enterprise environments
- Conduct platform and vendor assessments across technology, integration and data layers
- Act as a trusted advisor between business, technology, and third-party suppliers
- Establish and enforce enterprise architecture governance and standards
- Lead design and governance of enterprise data platform capabilities
- Assess enterprise architecture maturity and define improvement roadmaps
- Stay informed on emerging technology trends and identify opportunities for innovation
What We're Looking For
You bring strong Enterprise Architecture experience and the ability to operate confidently in secure, complex client environments. You will have:
- Experience working within secure UK Government environments (Defence, Public Safety, National Security)
- Experience across one or more architecture domains (Business, Application, Data, Technology)
- Background in large-scale or highly sensitive digital transformation programmes
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working within multi-disciplinary teams
- Ability to work across multiple levels of architectural abstraction
- Familiarity with enterprise platforms (SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, public cloud providers)
- Curiosity about emerging technologies such as AI, automation, cloud, data platforms
- Experience contributing to or designing AI-enabled solutions
- Full professional proficiency in English
Preferred Experience
- Deep knowledge of secure UK Government technology landscapes
- Consulting background
- Understanding of the Government Service Manual, Technology Code of Practice, and UK digital/data strategies
- Experience as an Enterprise Architect, Solution Architect, or Technology Strategist
- Experience in initiatives such as application rationalisation, re-platforming, and data architecture transformation
- Knowledge of business capability modelling and process taxonomies
- Experience designing or governing enterprise data platforms
- Knowledge of public/private cloud architectures
- Experience using EA tools (LeanIX, Avolution, Bizzdesign, Orbus, etc.)
- Relevant certifications (TOGAF, COBIT, cloud architecture, DCAM, DAMA-DMBOK)

- Hold valid Developed Vetting (DV) clearance
- Successfully pass BPSS checks
- Be a British passport holder with no dual nationality
