As a Palantir Solution Architect, you will lead multi-skilled agile teams to design and deliver contemporary data solutions across public sector, healthcare, defence, and commercial environments. Operating at the intersection of technology and business, you will provide technical leadership, shape solution architecture, and ensure that delivery meets both functional and non-functional requirements.
You will work closely with your peers, engineers, and client architects to define robust, resilient, and maintainable solutions. This is a client-facing, delivery-focused role suited to experienced solution architects who can balance pragmatism with technical authority, mentor teams, and influence outcomes across complex programmes.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Lead multi-skilled agile teams in delivering complex data solutions
- Define and implement functional and non-functional solution designs
- Collaborate with client and internal architects to align architecture with strategic objectives
- Provide technical thought leadership and guidance across delivery teams
- Influence technical standards, policies, and best practices within the data community
- Mentor, coach, and develop staff to grow capability and performance
Your Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end technical solution design and delivery, including orchestration and operationalisation
- Work with Ops and Infrastructure architects to productionise robust, resilient, and maintainable solutions
- Support pre-sales activities, including technical design input and solution proposals
- Develop and share knowledge, contributing to team and wider organisational capability
- Estimate delivery timelines and manage scope to ensure high-quality outcomes
- Manage, coach, and develop a small number of staff, supporting their career growth
- Collaborate with clients to advise on design, risk, and trade-offs for optimal solutions
- Ensure solutions integrate effectively across the full spectrum of data technologies
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience leading multiple teams as a data solution architect with ownership of complex systems
- Strong track record designing, building, and productionising modern data-intensive applications
- Broad knowledge across the data technology spectrum: ingestion, transformation, storage, presentation, and consumption
- Strategic design thinking, including problem conceptualisation, roadmap definition, architecture realisation, and risk management
- Comfortable with traditional and contemporary data warehousing concepts
- Experience deploying data-processing platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or Databricks
- Hands-on experience with Java, Scala, or Python when required
- Demonstrated ability to manage, coach, and develop team members
