A growing National Security-focused tech consultancy is expanding its engineering capability in Gloucester and is looking to hire Site Reliability Engineers to support critical, customer-facing applications. This role sits between software engineering and operations, ideal for someone who enjoys working on live systems, solving complex issues, and improving how applications are built and supported.
The position will involve working closely with development teams to resolve application-level issues, particularly where customers are impacted, while also building automation and long-term fixes to improve reliability and performance. - Experience with containerisation (e.g. Docker, microservices) is beneficial
