The Opportunity

I'm working with a leading global technology consultancy that is looking to hire Platform Engineers to join its rapidly growing engineering practice. This is an opportunity to work on large-scale digital transformation programmes across both public and private sector organisations, building modern cloud platforms and helping clients adopt best-in-class DevOps practices. You'll be joining a highly collaborative engineering community where you'll work alongside experienced software engineers, architects and platform specialists, delivering cloud-native solutions using modern technologies and engineering principles. If you enjoy solving complex technical challenges, automating everything possible and working with the latest cloud technologies, this is an excellent opportunity to accelerate your career.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Designing, building and supporting cloud-native platforms on AWS.
  • Developing Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK and Terraform.
  • Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment quality and speed.
  • Managing Kubernetes environments in production.
  • Driving DevOps best practices across development and operations teams.
  • Working closely with software engineers to improve platform reliability, scalability and security.
  • Implementing monitoring, observability and automation to improve system resilience.
  • Contributing to technical communities, knowledge sharing and engineering best practice.

You'll also have the opportunity to work with modern AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot and similar technologies to improve delivery efficiency and code quality.

What We're Looking For

We're keen to speak with engineers who have experience in some or most of the following:

  • Strong AWS experience and knowledge of core cloud services.
  • Hands-on Kubernetes experience within production environments.
  • Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK.
  • Terraform.
  • CI/CD pipeline development and automation.
  • DevOps tooling and best practices.
  • Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
