About the role
Our client is looking for a Security Cleared DevOps Engineer to join a major public services project. You'll design, build and maintain an end-to-end Salesforce CI/CD ecosystem, delivering automated build, test, deployment and environment management pipelines that enable reliable, scalable releases from development through to production.
Key responsibilities
- Implement scratch-org-based validation workflows
- Drive packaging and versioning through semantic-release
- Automate environment configuration across the Salesforce estate
- Integrate regression testing using Provar into the pipeline
- Develop custom Salesforce CLI plugins, including UI automation with Puppeteer, to manage configuration not exposed through standard APIs
Essential
- Strong Salesforce experience, including application implementation and configuration
- Hands-on GitLab and CI/CD xiskglj pipeline experience
- AWS experience
- Terraform for infrastructure as code
- Active SC clearance
Desirable
- Salesforce DX and Salesforce CLI plugin development
- Provar or other Salesforce test automation tooling
- Node.js / JavaScript for Puppeteer and CLI plugin work
- Previous public sector delivery experience
