A specialist manufacturing business is hiring a Clean Room Technician to support advanced microfabrication activity in a controlled production environment. This is a hands-on role with real impact on quality, yield, and process stability. The site operates in a highly regulated setting with strict standards around safety, consistency, and contamination control. Key responsibilities of Clean Room Technician:
- Carry out cleanroom processing in Class 7 or better facilities.
- Run and monitor microfabrication steps across production workflows.
- Work with photolithography, thin film deposition, etch, CMP, inspection, packaging, and related processes where applicable.
- Maintain accurate process flow and support efficient wafer or device movement.
- Follow SOPs, manufacturing instructions, and contamination control standards.
- Record process results, deviations, and yield-impacting issues.
- Support quality checks, defect review, and root-cause investigation.
- Assist with environmental monitoring and equipment checks.
Candidate profile:
- Experience in a cleanroom environment at Class 7 level or above.
- Strong attention to detail and a consistent approach to process discipline.
- Good manual dexterity for precise, delicate work.
- Exposure to semiconductor, microfabrication, optoelectronics, or similar controlled manufacturing is beneficial.
- Experience with metrology, inspection, SPC, or process validation is advantageous.
