A specialist management consultancy is supporting a major public sector healthcare transformation programme in Jersey and is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to provide strategic architecture leadership across enterprise-wide initiatives.
This is a senior, programme-level role suited to an Enterprise Architect comfortable operating at C-suite level, shaping long-term target architectures while ensuring delivery aligns with regulatory, security, and operational requirements typical of healthcare and public sector environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own enterprise target and transition architectures
- Lead architecture governance across multiple programmes and workstreams
- Translate business strategy into technology roadmaps and capability models
- Provide oversight for cloud migration, application rationalisation, and systems integration
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, data protection, and security standards
- Partner with programme leaders, solution architects, suppliers, and senior stakeholders
- Support procurement, vendor selection, and assurance
- Contribute to modern operating models and SDLC best practice
Required Experience
- Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect on large-scale transformation programmes
- Background in highly regulated environments (public sector, healthcare, government, or financial services)
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF essential)
- Experience across business, data, application, and technology architecture
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and modern integration patterns
- Experience with legacy-to-modern transformation
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Able to operate both strategically and hands-on
- Public sector or healthcare programme experience
- Knowledge of interoperability, shared services, and data integration
- Prior consultancy background
- TOGAF certification (or equivalent)
