This is a D365 Solution Architect role focused on defining and delivering end-to-end solution architecture across Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environments. You will translate business requirements into scalable, governed technical solutions while maintaining alignment across functional and non-functional requirements. The role sits close to delivery, with direct responsibility for ensuring architectural integrity throughout the implementation lifecycle.
You will define solution roadmaps, establish architectural standards, and work closely with engineering teams to guide implementation and resolve technical challenges. A key part of the role involves engaging senior stakeholders to ensure solutions are aligned to business outcomes and delivery constraints.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing end-to-end solution architectures across D365 and Power Platform
- Producing HLDs, LLDs, technical options papers, and key design decisions
- Defining architectural standards, principles, and delivery guardrails
- Leading solution design governance and architecture assurance activities
- Working closely with engineering teams to support delivery and unblock issues
- Ensuring solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements
- Supporting Agile, SAFe, and hybrid delivery methodologies
- Engaging stakeholders to shape and validate technical solutions
- Contributing to architecture roadmaps and target-state designs
Ideal Background
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CE or F&O)
- Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Strong understanding of Azure and cloud integration patterns
- Proven ability to design end-to-end enterprise solution architectures
- Working knowledge of TOGAF and SAFe frameworks
- Familiarity with UML, ArchiMate, and architecture tools such as Ardoq
- Background in delivery-focused architecture or engineering-led roles
- Strong stakeholder management across technical and business audiences
- Experience operating in Agile and hybrid delivery environments
- Strong focus on scalable, governed Microsoft solution design
