About the Role
As an IT Sourcing / Procurement Consultant, you’ll work with CIOs and senior business leaders to design, procure, and transition modern IT and digital services. You’ll contribute across sourcing strategy, business cases, commercial models, and complex transition programmes, ensuring that services and operating models are fit for purpose today and scalable for the future.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing IT sourcing strategies that balance internal capability with external suppliers
- Shaping and delivering sourcing solutions, business cases, and commercial models
- Leading or contributing to major procurements, including supplier engagement and contract negotiation
- Designing and delivering global operating and delivery models that enable modern digital ways of working
- Leading complex transition programmes and workstreams to move services into new delivery models
- Working closely with senior stakeholders across technology, procurement, and the wider business
Ideal Background
- Proven experience in IT sourcing, procurement, or transformation in digital/technology environments
- Strong understanding of the technology services market (applications, infrastructure, workplace, cloud, SaaS, AI)
- Experience across the full outsourcing lifecycle: strategy, delivery, transition, optimisation
- Ability to define IT services, requirements, SLAs, and commercial constructs
- Experience shaping effective procurement strategies and robust commercial solutions
- Consulting experience preferred, essential at senior grades
- Comfortable influencing senior stakeholders and managing complex projects
