Overview

Lead the Design Authority for a critical Launch Management System (LMS) on major defence programmes involving complex missile integration for naval and land platforms. Operate within a leading European defence prime handling high‑stakes weapon systems at scale.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee technical development, certification sign‑off, and in‑service support for LMS on Sea Ceptor and Land Ceptor programmes
  • Maintain functional and physical design structures to enable verification, validation, and customer acceptance
  • Engage across system design, software, electronics, mechanical engineering, reliability, safety, and cybersecurity
  • Manage technical risks and opportunities aligned to product evolution and customer demands
  • Build relationships with design stakeholders and ensure team expertise development

Candidate profile

  • Proven design leadership for complex electronics subsystems in defence
  • Strong systems engineering principles, processes, and tools (e.g., requirements management)
