Location: London, Manchester or Leeds (hybrid - 3 days a week onsite)

Salary: Up to £59,000 + package

NOTE: Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be eligible for SC Clearance.

This is an opportunity to work on large-scale, mission-critical platforms where modern cloud engineering, automation, and infrastructure practices are central to delivery.

As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll work within cross-functional engineering teams helping to build, automate, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You’ll play a key role in improving reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency across a range of complex projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Working across DevOps, Infrastructure, and SRE functions within Agile teams
  • Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Managing cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
  • Supporting deployments across Azure or GCP environments
  • Writing automation scripts using Bash, Shell, or Python
  • Collaborating with developers and platform teams to improve delivery and reliability
  • Contributing to containerised and cloud-native environments

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of commercial DevOps engineering experience, specifically Azure or GCP
  • Experience using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tooling and deployment automation
  • Scripting experience with Bash, Shell, or Python
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Desirable Experience

  • Kubernetes, Docker, or OpenShift
  • Linux systems administration
  • Networking, routing, and firewall fundamentals
