Join a fast-paced UK engineering team to build, scale, secure, and maintain the infrastructure for our growing suite of applications. You will collaborate closely with software engineers and product teams to ensure reliable software delivery through robust CI/CD pipelines, automation, monitoring, and modern DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Engineering to improve developer experience.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines.
- Design and provision resilient, secure infrastructure.
- Own all environments, from Development through to Production.
- Monitor system performance, anticipate operational problems, and recommend solutions.
- Manage system lifecycle, including change and configuration management.
- Troubleshoot emergency infrastructure incidents for optimal application performance.
- Drive continuous platform improvement (performance, security, and cost optimization).
Core Requirements
- Team Player with effective cross-team collaboration skills.
- Proven experience building AWS-based, scalable, and highly available distributed infrastructure.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Containerization.
- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and GitOps Practices.
- Experience working with multiple AWS services.
- Strong Problem-Solving skills (root cause analysis and long-term solutions).
- Scripting ability in Python or Bash.
- Experience with Monitoring, Observability, and Cost Optimisation practices.
- Familiarity with Microservice Architecture and Agile practices.
- Ability to scale deployments and provide production support.
- Good understanding of Linux systems.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
