I'm working with a global consultancy that's continuing to grow its Digital Experience and User-Centred Design capability and is looking to hire a User Researcher to join its Newcastle team. This is an opportunity to work on large-scale digital transformation programmes across government and regulated industries, helping shape services that are genuinely user-focused.
You'll work alongside multidisciplinary Agile teams, influencing product decisions through high-quality user research and insights. You'll be involved in:
- Planning, recruiting and conducting user research sessions
- Running remote and face-to-face research, analysing findings and presenting recommendations
- Translating user insights into actionable requirements for design and development teams
- Collaborating with Product Managers, Service Designers and UX Designers within Agile delivery teams
- Championing user-centred design principles across complex digital transformation programmes
What They're Looking For
- Commercial experience working as a User Researcher
- Strong knowledge of GDS and experience delivering to GDS standards
- Experience working within Agile delivery teams
- Confidence facilitating user research sessions and presenting findings to stakeholders
- A passion for advocating for users and influencing product direction through evidence-based research
- A portfolio demonstrating user research, user journeys, personas, usability testing and related UX artefacts
The Package:
£50,000 - £54,000 base Company Bonus Pension
