We are looking for an experienced Management Consulting Manager to join a leading global consulting organisation's Aerospace & Defence practice, supporting clients through complex transformation programmes across the industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of technology, AI, defence capability, and large-scale business transformation, helping leading A&D organisations become more agile, innovative, and operationally effective. The role offers exposure to strategic industry challenges, government defence clients, and high-impact projects that support the future of UK Aerospace & Defence.

The Role

  • Lead consulting project teams delivering complex transformation initiatives for A&D clients.
  • Define problems, structure analysis approaches, and drive delivery across multiple workstreams.
  • Work with senior client stakeholders to develop strategies and implement recommendations.
  • Coach and develop consulting teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Lead workshops, innovation sessions, and client engagements.
  • Support the development of new consulting offerings and business development activities.

Essential Experience

  • 5+ years experience in client-facing management consulting within the Aerospace & Defence sector.
  • Strong knowledge across one or more areas including:
    • Supply Chain
    • Operational Improvement
    • Manufacturing
    • Quality Management
    • Sourcing & Procurement
    • Digital Engineering
    • Complex Programme Delivery Services
  • Proven experience leading teams and managing client relationships.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • A passion for using technology, AI, and innovation to transform the A&D industry.
