What You’ll Do:
- Deliver end‑to‑end data science solutions across discovery, alpha, beta and live phases
- Build, test and deploy analytical models, statistical approaches and data pipelines
- Work with large, complex datasets to generate insights that inform policy and service design
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including product managers, researchers and engineers
- Present findings to technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Lead by example, providing guidance, coaching and mentoring to junior data scientists
- Ensure all work aligns with GDS standards, data governance and ethical guidelines
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven experience as a data scientist in complex or public‑sector environments
- Strong proficiency in Python and common data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Sci‑Kit Learn, etc.)
