An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Data Platform / Databricks Solution Architect to join a growing Data & AI practice working with enterprise clients on large-scale, high-impact transformation programmes. This role sits at the intersection of architecture, consulting, and pre-sales, shaping modern data and AI solutions that deliver tangible business outcomes. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, delivery teams, and sales leadership to design, propose, and deliver cutting-edge data platform solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing end-to-end Data & AI platform architectures, with a strong focus on Databricks lakehouse solutions
- Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, translating business challenges into scalable, secure technical solutions
- Leading solution design for complex engagements, including estimates, roadmaps, and architectural artefacts
- Supporting pre-sales and deal shaping, including client workshops, proposals, and presentations
- Providing architectural oversight on high-risk or strategic delivery programmes
- Mentoring and coaching architects and engineers across the wider Data & AI community
- Collaborating with leadership to shape future offerings, accelerators, and IP across Data & AI
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience as a Solution Architect or Data Architect within large-scale data programmes
- Deep hands-on knowledge of Databricks and modern data platform architectures
- Experience across cloud-based data ecosystems (Azure preferred, but AWS/GCP also relevant)
- Solid understanding of modern Data & AI concepts including:
- Structured and unstructured data
- Streaming and real-time analytics
- AI / GenAI and advanced analytics use cases
