As a Senior Cyber Security Architect, you will play a key role in ensuring secure, resilient, and scalable solutions are designed, implemented, and operated across complex technology environments. This role combines security architecture, technical leadership, and people development, working closely with agile delivery teams to embed security throughout the software development lifecycle while helping clients navigate increasingly complex security challenges.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Lead security architecture across complex digital transformation programmes
  • Shape secure cloud, AI/ML, M365, and DevSecOps solutions
  • Influence security strategy and best practices across multidisciplinary teams
  • Work directly with clients and senior stakeholders to address security challenges
  • Mentor architects, engineers, and security specialists
  • Help drive innovation across modern security architectures and technologies

Your Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure architectures across cloud platforms and digital services
  • Embed security practices throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Identify security risks within existing systems and recommend practical, risk‑based mitigations
  • Provide security assurance across solution design, development, and delivery
  • Support agile teams in adopting secure engineering practices
  • Define and promote security standards, patterns, and architectural principles
  • Contribute to security governance, compliance, and risk management activities
  • Mentor and develop engineers, architects, and security professionals
  • Communicate security requirements and complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences

Key Requirements:

  • Experience designing and delivering secure cloud‑based solutions and services
  • Strong experience identifying security vulnerabilities and defining effective mitigations
  • Deep architectural expertise in at least one of the following: AI/ML Security, Cloud Security, Microsoft 365 Security, DevSecOps Security Architecture
  • Experience in application architecture, software engineering, or infrastructure architecture
  • Knowledge of security standards and frameworks including NCSC, ISO 27001, SOC, NIST, PCI DSS, GDPR
  • Experience with security testing tools and techniques
  • Experience implementing Continuous Security, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices
  • Strong understanding of: Network security, Web application security (OWASP), Cryptographic controls (PKI, TLS)
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, and leading technical teams
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
