Due to significant and ongoing expansion, the firm is seeking experienced cyber security professionals to join a rapidly growing UK cyber practice within a broader Technology and Transformation capability. Responsibilities
The Role Cyber Security Consultants work closely with senior stakeholders to define, design, and deliver cyber strategies and transformation programmes. The role involves operating in fast-paced environments, helping organisations understand and manage cyber risk while enabling innovation and business change. Typical responsibilities include:
- Advising executives and boards on the development of actionable, risk-based cyber security strategies
- Supporting organisations through cyber transformation programmes aligned to digital and cloud-enabled business models
- Designing cyber governance structures, operating models, and maturity roadmaps
- Assessing cyber risk, regulatory readiness, and compliance across complex organisations
- Enabling cyber security to act as a business enabler, not just a control function
- Working across multiple sectors and organisational environments to solve real-world cyber challenges.

Skills and Experience

Cyber Security Experience
- Expertise in areas such as cyber strategy, cyber risk management, cyber maturity, security architecture, cyber transformation, and regulatory compliance
- Experience working with recognised cyber security frameworks and regulations, including NIST CSF, CRI 2.0, ISO 27001, NCSC CAF, GDPR, and NIS2
- Practical experience across cyber domains such as GRC, security architecture, threat management, vulnerability management, and cyber security reviews
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including producing clear reports and executive-level presentations
- A strong interest in supporting large and complex organisations with their cyber security challenges
Consulting and Delivery Skills
- Project management experience using waterfall and agile delivery methodologies
- Experience managing or contributing to delivery teams across multiple locations and cultures
- Strong client and stakeholder management skills, engaging effectively with developers, security leaders, and senior business stakeholders
- Ability to think laterally and apply judgement to complex, ambiguous problems
- Previous consulting experience
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, M.Inst.ISP, or a postgraduate qualification in cyber security or a related field
- Understanding of modern cyber risk and security maturity concepts
