Cyber Security Consultant Location: London (Hybrid) Salary: Up to £100,000+ benefits A leading Financial Services Cyber Security team is expanding! Be part of a group that combines cutting-edge technology, regulatory insight, and strategic consulting to help clients navigate risks, meet regulatory expectations, and enable growth. Key Responsibilities Deliver cyber maturity assessments, risk reporting, strategy development, and project/programme management. Support compliance with Bank of England, FCA, and European Banking Authority standards, bridging principles-based regulations with actionable strategies. Drive culture change, support tooling procurement, and lead internal research into trends like AI, Zero Trust, and DevSecOps. Contribute to proposals, client presentations, and events to build lasting partnerships. Essential Skills and Experience Strong knowledge of defensive security controls (e.g., SIEM, firewalls, endpoint monitoring). Familiarity with on-prem and Cloud security controls. Understanding frameworks like NIST CSF and ISO 27001. Proven experience in Cyber Security roles, ideally within Financial Services. Desirable Qualifications CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or ISO 27001 certifications. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Security or related fields.
